透光石纹墙面在灯亮之前，看起来只是一块浅色板材。灯一亮，纹理由内部透出来，质感完全不同。Before the light comes on, a transparent stone wall looks like a pale panel. Once lit, the veining comes through from behind and the character changes completely.قبل الإضاءة يبدو جدار الحجر الشفاف لوحاً فاتحاً، وبعدها تنفذ العروق من الداخل فيتغير الطابع تماماً.

光源的均匀度比亮度重要Evenness matters more than brightnessالتساوي أهم من السطوع

背光最怕的是光斑。灯珠离板太近或间距太大，会在板面上看到一个个亮圈。正确做法是让光源与板面保持距离，并缩小灯间距。The enemy of backlighting is the hot spot. Place lamps too close to the panel or too far apart and you see circles of light. Keep the source off the panel surface and tighten the spacing.عدو الإضاءة الخلفية هو البقعة الساطعة. تقريب المصابيح أو تباعدها يظهر دوائر مضيئة، والحل إبعاد المصدر وتقليل المسافة بين المصابيح.

留出散热空间Leave room for heatاترك مساحة للحرارة

光源持续工作会发热。背光腔体要有通风，否则热量累积会影响板材与光源寿命。腔体深度要按灯具类型确定，不能凭经验。Lamps produce heat continuously. The light box needs ventilation or heat builds up and shortens the life of both panel and light source. Cavity depth follows the fitting type, not rule of thumb.تنتج المصابيح حرارة باستمرار، فالصندوق يحتاج تهوية وإلا تراكمت الحرارة وقصر عمر اللوح والمصدر. وعمق التجويف يتبع نوع المصباح.

与连纹的关系Relation to book-matchingعلاقته بالتوصيل المتطابق

透光石纹同样可以做连纹。背光会让纹路更明显，所以连纹的价值也更高，连续的光影比单块更耐看。Transparent stone can also be book-matched. Backlighting makes the veining more visible, which raises the value of matching: continuous light and shadow read better than isolated panels.يمكن توصيل الحجر الشفاف أيضاً، والإضاءة الخلفية تبرز العروق فترتفع قيمة التوصيل.
