无框蜂窝大板的做法是把承托结构做进板体的折边里。四边扣、双折边，板与板直接对拼，中间不再需要露在外面的龙骨。视觉上，顶面从"很多块"变成"一整片"。The frameless panel carries its support inside a folded edge. Four-sided clips with a double-folded edge let panels meet directly, with no carrier left exposed between them. Honeycomb achieves maximum rigidity with minimum material, so for the same face area it weighs far less than a solid panel.
